A brief history


Based in Romford, Essex EXACT MOVES has been providing professional moving services to home, business and industry since 1964.


Until 2002, the company trading under its registered name of C W Smith & Sons Ltd was a family operated business. In order to increase its share of the commercial removal market and develop a more distinct branding, the family joined forces with Rick Jones. Introducing a raft of new procedures and disciplines, the business has expanded rapidly culminating in a move to its prestigious new warehouse and office complex in March 2004.


Providing one stop move solutions for a range of blue chip organisations including Orange PCS, Morley Fund Management and Intercapital, EXACT MOVES combines dynamic business ethics with a more traditional family approach to deliver a range of personalised services tailored "exactly" to our client's individual requirements.
